Happiness starts at home. At least, it should. Even if we work a lot, generally speaking, we spend the larger percentage of our time at home. We sleep there. We eat there. We try to relax there. As a general rule, we often think of ways to make our life happier that are sort of self-contained. However, I’ve found that it is very often our day-to-day interactions with others that makes the difference in our own happiness.

I don’t know about you, but when things are going really well in my life, I’ve sort of been conditioned to expect or wait for “the other shoe to drop.” I mean, I’ve always sort of had this notion that maybe I just can’t have really good things happening in my life. Like that just
