I want you to know that I see you. And I feel you. I want you to know that I love you. So many people are hurting. There is always pain that comes in all shapes and sizes, and it is all real. I want you to know that I sit here and I feel you. And I send you all the love and the strength and the light that I have and that I can produce and that I can call forth.
The thing is, there is an undercurrent, too. People who feel pain, people who are struggling or hurting or trying to find their way in the darkness… they also have this amazing undercurrent of strength and hope and light that they run. And that is the energy I tap into… that is the place that I send all the love and strength and light that I have. To add to yours. It’s absolutely beautiful.
We are so much more than our pain. We are so much more than our struggles. I wish I could show you what I see in you… what I see you in your life and what you create in yourself and around you. You would probably be stunned by how strong and light and tremendous you really are.
This isn’t the most eloquent thing I’ve ever written. I wish that my words could match my vision of your amazingness. But it’s like my old buddy Gustave Flaubert says… “Human speech is like a cracked kettle on which we tap crude rhythms for bears to dance to, while we long to make music that will melt the stars.”
Well, I guess I’l just say… I love you. That will have to suffice.
